SHIRKOAKPARK.co.uk is a site dedicated to anything & everything that is Shirkoak Park. It serves as an information centre for both residents and all those with ambitions of becoming residents.
We hope that a quick surf through the site will give all those interested, an insight into the Park.
There is an active residents association who are ready, willing and able to answer any questions you may have regarding, The Park. To contact The Chairman click the box on the left of the screen marked S.P.R.A.
This residential Park comprises of just over 135 homes solely for the retired or semi retired over the age of 50 years. It is situated just over a mile from the picturesque village of Woodchurch in the heart of rural Kent. It is ideally situated just 6 miles from Ashford town centre, Ashford International rail station and the M20 with the channel tunnel less than 30 minutes drive away.
For those of you who have a passion for fishing, Shirkoak Park, sports it’s very own fishing lake for use of the residents only.
Famous for its beautiful 18th century windmill. Unlike many villages Woodchurch still has a thriving retail sector with a Post Office - Family Butchers - General store - Hobby shop - 2 public houses and two auto repair garages.
Because of Ashford’s easy access to mainland Europe via it’s Eurostar railway station and M20. It is a popular centre for visitors from both the rest of Britain and Europe. This is reflected in the high standard of shopping facilities. Almost every supermarkets, hypermarket DIY superstores and chain store are represented somewhere in or on the outskirts of the town. Not to mention the 80 designer stores adjacent to Ashford station.
Is it any wonder, it was voted fourth best place to live in the United Kingdom in 2005
